This is a picture I took looking out my bedroom window on a rainy day in 1993.

Here is a representation of the signal intensity in the plane with three radiating elements in a triangular arrangement, slightly out of phase, with light areas designating constructive interference and dark areas designating destructive interference.

And this one has seven radiators, in two groups of three in a triangle at each end of the plane, and one in the center.
